Dogged is a rapidly growing pet brand that prides itself on innovation, functional design, and an education-first approach. As the company scales, its operations must evolve to meet increasing demand while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in fulfillment, logistics, and inventory management. One of the key challenges Dogged faces is optimizing its warehouse operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment, accurate inventory forecasting, and effective drop shipping partnerships. Currently, inefficiencies in fulfillment workflows, inventory tracking, and shipment issue resolution create operational bottlenecks that hinder the company’s ability to scale efficiently.
This project aims to introduce innovative operational strategies that go beyond routine warehouse activities by implementing process automation, data-driven inventory forecasting, and optimized logistics workflows. By refining fulfillment processes and leveraging technology to enhance tracking and documentation, Dogged can improve order accuracy, reduce delays, and streamline its supply chain. Additionally, strengthening and onboarding new drop shipping partners will expand the company’s reach while ensuring a reliable fulfillment network.
To address these challenges, expertise in operations management, supply chain optimization, and data analytics is required. The intern will play a critical role in identifying inefficiencies, developing data-backed solutions, and implementing best practices for inventory control and shipment tracking. This innovation project will not only improve Dogged’s operational efficiency but also create a scalable fulfillment model that supports the company’s continued growth.
