Part A. Mapping Economic, social, and health ecosystem and agencies in
Greater Saint John Project
Outcomes:
1. Understand the interdependencies amongst the actors and the customers they serve creating awareness and transparency in the components of the larger system
2. Move from a linear approach to a systems perspective to assist in understanding
who is addressing what problem, seeking alignment addressing the needs
3.Create a platform for dialogue and actions providing potential cost savings, enhanced employee and stakeholder engagement, alignment of actors and a mindset and behaviour that we are strong together.
Like most communities Saint John has a significant number of organizations , businesses, agencies, volunteers and levels of government all coping with covid 19 in the now,
near and the far. While all well intended the citizens, employees, businesses- large and small, the government employees, the volunteers, the out of work, do not have a clear understanding of where to go for help . For example in the economic pillar there are numerous govt agencies that are all working hard in a reactive mode resulting in frustration, confusion, increased cost and duplication.
