E-commerce marketing co-coordinator as an intern at La Dole Rugs

This internship will give me exposure to eCommerce and digital marketing management with a company that operates both in Canada and the USA. This will help me gain a more fulsome learning experience in social media and website development/management. Working in its eCommerce department will provide me an opportunity to learn how digital marketing is different than traditional marketing. I will also get a chance to apply my marketing and strategic management skills that I have gained from my previous experience in a managerial role and by studying related subjects in my MBA courses. This project will add value to the company’s resources and will make better use of them. Prior internship projects have been successful in increasing La Dole Rugs’ sales, and I plan to continue this track record. I will do this by working to optimise inventory and supply chain management to make it easier for La Dole Rugs to manage its inventory and cut costs by avoiding storage of extra inventory.
