Education, training, networking and mobilization on social housing resources

This project will show WCWRC as an active organizer in the Right to Housing coalitions public education campaign. This campaign will promote the need and reasoning for governments and society to invest in the social housing that WCWRC participants and the community needs. Increasing the stock of social housing is a critical element, necessary to address the financial needs of housing, and to ensure that housing is financially accessible to all who need it. August, Martine (2022). Increasing the stock of social housing also ensure that the housing remains affordable in perpetuity. This community based process will engage with residents and partners to develop education and training materials to work towards increasing the number of social housing units.
