Enhancing Air Traffic Control Communication: Integrating AI and Visual Aids to Improve Pilot Performance and Safety
This project aims to improve communication between pilots and air traffic control (ATC) by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and visual aids with traditional voice communication. By using AI to generate real-time visual cues (like text and icons), we hope to reduce misunderstandings and improve situational awareness for pilots. This will help make flying safer and more efficient. The project will benefit the participating institutions by advancing research in AI and communication technologies, enhancing pilot training programs, and fostering international collaboration.
