This three-year research project aims to help C[3], an organization promoting artistic social practice, by addressing challenges and enhancing the potential of collaborations between artists and researchers. The intern will work with C[3] to create resources, tools, and services for these collaborations. In the second phase, they will study eight artist-researcher pairs to understand their creative processes and how they use the tools developed in the study. This will improve the resources and help artists and researchers work together more effectively. Finally, the project will share its findings with both the academic and artistic communities, promoting better collaboration and understanding in the world of social practice art. This project will benefit C[3] by strengthening its support for artists and researchers and contribute to more equitable and meaningful partnerships, recognizing the value of artists in research projects and fostering social change through art.
