Over the past two decades, the number of network-connected devices has grown at an unprecedented pace, far
surpassing the world’s population. The most significant increase has been seen in Internet-of-Things (loT) devices,
which are predominantly connected through wireless technologies. This project aims at advancing the abilities
and autonomy of wireless loT networks by using machine learning and energy harvesting. The research is closely
aligned with developments in the wireless communication industry. The project outcomes will support product
development at the partner organization and contribute directly to global standardization efforts.
