Environmental Educator Assistant

With CPAWS, I will work raise awareness of the conservation efforts and to facilitate opportunities for citizens to become involved in conservation efforts in Manitoba, by doing outreach at special events. I will also assist in the delivery of an outdoor learning program to help nuture a fun and involving learning environment for children in their own playgrounds where they feel comfortable. This includes curriculum development and leadership roles. Finally I will help support the expansion of the Outdoor Fun events which provide meaningful opportunities to connect Manitobans to nature. In this role I will assist nature based workshops and delivery of outdoor excursions.Overall, this project will help Manitoba’s youth recover from Covid-19 pandemic, decrease screen reliance, create connections with nature, raise awareness of the need to protect land and help increase the impact of CPAWs.
