Evaluation of a National Employment Readiness Program

This research project will examine the challenges facing service providers in running the Worktopia program and aim to develop strategies to overcome those challenges and improve the program delivery. The Worktopia program is a training program designed to improve the employment readiness and skills of young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The program will be provided through thirteen service providers across Canada and will be led by the Sinneave Family Foundation. Through iterviews with senior staff at the service providers,
along with a formal roundtable consultation, this project with identify the challenges and work to improve the program. This will allow the Sinneave Family Foundation to build a stronger program going forward and improve its long-term viability.
