Technological advancement, environmental concerns, and supportive policies have created momentum for a global transition to electric vehicles. It is a vital step for the mitigation of climate change and a reduced fossil fuel dependence. There is an increased emphasis on the scientific understanding of factors influencing the purchase propensities in (potential) electric vehicle consumers. This project will work to decode the consumer preferences and purchase propensity for electric vehicles in tier-two and tier-three cities in India, and to identify the primary factors influencing these preferences.
