Experimental Evaluation of Emergent Behaviours in Interactive Art Sculptural Systems in Public Installation Settings

In this project, we aim to build an interactive art sculpture that is intrinsically curious. The sculpture learns by doing some action and observing the consequences. We are interested in studying how people perceive the behaviours emerged form this learning process and how different configuration might change this perception. Moreover, we aim to bring this sculpture out of the laband validate the findings “in the wild” by installing the sculpture in public venue and allow visitors to interact with it. Advanced user experience surveying technologies will also be investigated in order to better capture users’ responses.
