Front End Developer

2.2 billion people live with vision impairment: Over 1 billion are preventable or treatable. Even though the majority of cases are in Developing Countries, 75% of vision loss in Canada is preventable and 1 out of 5 Canadians are at risk of vision loss. Our emerging crisis of preventable blindness costs the Canadian government almost $33 billion annually. RetinaLogik is a social enterprise startup that aims to improve access to vision care services through utilizing technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Our novel platform unlocks the power of virtual reality for vision assessment, with an additional layer of early detection AI to detect conditions sooner. Our social enterprise model gets it to people who need it most. We are currently in the process of starting our clinical testing. However, one of the components that we need help developing before starting our trails is our front-end development. We are looking to incorporate best design practices that could make it smooth for clinicians through utilizing human-computer interaction principles.
