Gamification of language learning

Everybody Loves Language (ELL) is a language learning solution which provides all the necessary tools and features for organizations to deliver a complete language program to inspire learners at home, in schools, and workplaces around the world. Today, one of the active and student-centered teaching methods is gamification-based learning which is the result of scientific efforts to provide an environment for students to learn a new skill in an enjoyable, engaging, motivating, and successful way. Gamification refers to using game elements such as mechanics, aesthetics, and game thinking in the non-gamified learning environments that can increase the interest and motivation of learners to learn a new language. To date, studies have shown that gamification and game-based learning can increase students’ motivation to learn and engage, and achieve the learning outcomes. In this project, gamification and game-based learning will be integrated into the ELL learning system., which is aimed to increase students’ motivation and engagement with ELL’s products.
