Mine sites are often remote and are unable to provide the same flexibility that other workplaces do. For workers who become parents, these factors make balancing work and family obligations particularly difficult. Because research has shown that younger ( Millennial and GenZ) workers place high value on work-life balance, and because retaining skilled workers is vital, Kinross Gold wants to learn from their workers, how, as an employer, they can support them as they take n new responsibilities.
