Global Cybersecurity Standards Review

This research project will assess, and compare cybersecurity frameworks currently in place for critical infrastructure protection in Internet of things (IoT), Operational Technology (OT) and 5G to determine what the recommended policies are for critical infrastructure protection today for IoT, OT and 5G, and if there is already a
currently used framework that supports all best practices or are there gaps that need to be addressed. This research objective will stive to determine what the ‘gold standard’ should be for critical infrastructure protection control frameworks. We aim to create harmonization in this field with a recommended policy for all
sectors of critical infrastructure to follow and provide Government and Industry regulators the data they require to make informed decisions on regulatory requirements and standards
