Harm Reduction

Although my initial project was just working harm reduction, the organization I will be assisting has an opportunity to help a community center that has gained new ownership; they have been asked to help create a plan on how to use this space as an opportunity to bring better programming into the area whereas this center has not been being used to its full potential in the past. My main project this summer will be to research the neighborhood, meet with local businesses and members within the community, see what programming is currently offered and what needs still need to met to create a plan of how this space could be used. My secondary project will be to work with Jacob on his current harm reduction project. This includes weekly ran seminars to the public that are held via zoom. During the time duration prior to my starting, I am doing my research and plan on attending Jacobs current seminar meetings to gain a sense of what this program offers from the attendees perspective.
