This project supports the Internet Society Manitoba Chapter (ISMC) in improving internet access and digital skills in Winnipeg’s North End, a low-income area where many Indigenous and newcomer families face barriers to technology. In 2025, the project will focus on creating outreach materials, promoting digital literacy programs, and helping residents access affordable internet and refurbished computers. In 2026, the project will continue this work and include a program evaluation to find ways to improve the computer giveaway. The project will help ISMC expand its community network, reach more people, and strengthen its programs to better serve the community.
