Learn MoreDue to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, there is: 1) a worldwide shortage of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for frontline Health Care Professional; and 2) a demand for products which can reduce the risk of contracting SARS-CoV-2. We plan to assess the use of titanium-based particles to inactivate viruses and bacteria using visible light. The particles can be used in wide range of other applications including 1) air filtration systems such as ventilators, air purifiers; 2) water filtration systems such as water purifiers; and 3) surface cleaning systems.
