Iridium Risk Services – Risk Technician

Because everyone is working from home, much of the work being done involves smaller groups, rather than when we were in an office setting. This is natural since it is more difficult to collaborate with 2+ people online than in a physical setting. To improve workflows and tracking, we have several initiatives which allow us to collaborate easier in a decentralized setting. Therefore, the scope of the internship will see the Student assisting with internal projects aimed at improving efficiencies in the organization. This can range from creating and improving templates for client communication to setting up macros in excel to pull live data online to better inform our clients’ decisions. An intern would be responsible for taking direction and executing small tasks but will also be encouraged to take initiative and propose solutions of their own. Iridium’s Leadership Team have and will continue to identify areas where solutions are required to help push our organization forward and will provide the potential Student with opportunities to assist where possible.
