iSpace – Bringing asset heavy sectors into the future – Industry 4.0

The pandemic has forced companies in asset heavy sectors to work on wafer thin margins. This is especially true for oil and gas sector which was plagued by a huge drop in oil prices between March-August 2020. This has directly impacted their spending on R&D and other overheads. Algo8 brings into play ace class engineering techniques, merged with deep learning to deploy advanced pre-built and customised Artificial Intelligence tools. Their mission is to transform and organise the
industrial value chain and processes using artificial intelligence. They have served over 30 customers and multiple Fortune 500 companies in sectors like Oil & Gas, Metals and FMCG. To optimise the utilisation of resources by humans, they have developed an enterprise AI product suite called iSpace. The objective of the project is to find the correct product market fit for the predictive maintenance and visual analytics modules in Canada. This will also include understanding the role of artificial intelligence in the post pandemic world, especially in asset heavy sectors. This project requires the understanding of both the market and the product, and I believe that Systems Design Engineering has given me the unique flexibility to explore topics outside traditional engineering disciplines.
