L2M – Carbon Capture in Breweries using Adsorption-Based Technology

This project will support the commercialization of TurnCO2, a clean technology startup developing a low-cost carbon capture system designed specifically for craft and mid-sized breweries. Breweries produce large amounts of CO2 during fermentation, but most of it is released into the air while they continue to buy expensive, externally sourced CO2 for packaging and carbonation. TurnCO2’s system captures this waste CO2 and makes it reusable on-site, helping breweries save money, reduce emissions, and become more self-sufficient. Through this project, the team will carry out market research, talk to breweries, test pricing models, and prepare for manufacturing. The goal is to move the system from a successful prototype to a market-ready product, supporting TurnCO2’s growth and the brewing industry’s shift toward sustainability.
