L2M – Daku Tech Personal Locator Beacon

Our project’s specific idea of developing an advanced personal locator beacon (PLB) tailored for commercial fishermen holds immense potential benefits for Canada. By enhancing the safety and security of fishermen navigating the country’s vast and often treacherous waters, our innovative PLB technology has the potential to significantly reduce the alarming rate of occupational injuries and fatalities within Canada’s fishing industry, ensuring the well-being of its workforce and contributing to the sustainability of this crucial sector of the Canadian economy.
