This project aims to develop a low-cost, easy-to-use water sensor for hydroponic farming using printed organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs). The sensor will help growers quickly check the levels of nutrients in their water without needing expensive lab equipment. We will improve the sensor’s performance in the lab, test it in real hydroponic systems, and collect feedback from growers to guide future development. The partner organization will benefit by gaining a working prototype, valuable test data, and early connections with potential users, helping them move closer to a market-ready product.
