L2M-WEARNOVAI: AI-ASSISTED WEARABLE MICROFLUIDIC PLATFORM FOR NON-INVASIVE DETECTION OF INFLAMMATORY BIOMARKERS IN SWEAT

WearNovAI is a smart, wearable device that can detect early signs of neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s and epilepsy by analyzing sweat. Traditional tools used to diagnose these diseases are often invasive, expensive, and difficult to access, especially in remote or underserved areas. This new wearable sensor offers a non-invasive, real-time alternative by identifying inflammation-related biomarkers linked to early neurological decline. Through the Lab2Market Validate program, the company aims to gather user feedback, refine the device design, and map out regulatory pathways. The expected outcome is a more accessible and scalable screening tool that supports early diagnosis and continuous monitoring, helping improve brain health outcomes and reduce long-term healthcare burdens across Canada.
