Language, Equity, and Education: Investigating Multilingual Inclusion in Canadian Schools

The project will investigate how language practices in multilingual and multicultural schools influence students’ learning experiences and educational opportunities. It aims to identify challenges faced by students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and explore strategies that promote inclusion and equity in education. By collecting and analyzing data on classroom language use, the project seeks to provide insights that can help improve teaching practices and support all learners in multilingual settings.
