(1) TELUS Agriculture, a business unit of TELUS, specializes in providing digital solutions and technology-driven services to the agriculture sector. Its main activity involves developing and offering innovative platforms, software applications, and data analytics tools tailored to the unique needs of farmers, agribusinesses, and stakeholders across the agriculture value chain. TELUS Agriculture’s solutions aim to enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability in agriculture by leveraging digital technologies such as precision agriculture, data analytics, IoT, and remote sensing.
(2) The anticipated social and economic benefits to Canada resulting from TELUS Agriculture’s participation in the research highlighted above are significant. By contributing to the advancement of digitalization and data utilization in the agriculture sector, TELUS Agriculture helps drive innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness in Canadian agriculture. This, in turn, fosters economic growth, job creation, and prosperity in rural communities across Canada.
