On-Prem / Sovereign AI Coding Assistant for Privacy-Constrained Tasks

This project will create a privacy-preserving AI coding assistant that runs directly on a user’s computer instead of relying on cloud services. Many organizations, such as governments and healthcare providers, cannot use cloud-based AI tools because of data security and confidentiality concerns. The system will automatically detect the user’s hardware (CPU, GPU, memory) and select the best coding model that can run efficiently on that machine. Advanced optimization techniques, like quantization and mixed precision, will make models smaller and faster without losing accuracy.

For Farpoint Technologies, this project delivers a sovereign, on-premise AI coding assistant that can be integrated into its existing coding platform. The result will be a secure and responsive tool that supports developers in privacy-constrained environments, helping Farpoint strengthen its competitive position and open new opportunities in sectors where security and sovereignty are essential.
