Operations Intern

FinnAI aims to build simple, easy-to-use conversational banking platforms for financial institutions so their customers can easily manage their money and improve their financial literacy. Although FinnAI’s business model has proven resilient to COVID, the move to fully remote work has been challenging as their policies, company rituals, customer service and culture were not designed to meet the demands of a remote work environment. Thus, the intern will work with the operations team to research, design, and implement a strategy to convert the workforce to a hybridized working model in perpetuity and build company culture and consistent touchpoints. Futhermore, they will support legal and market reviews of remote work policy considerations, as well as create learning materials and deliver trainings to employees on best practices in remote environments. The intern is to support FinnAI not only survive a transition to a remote workforce, but leverage it as a competitive advantage for employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. As more US companies hire remote in Canada, smaller companies need to evolve quickly to retain talent.
