Policy Research for Skills-Commensurate Employment for Newcomers to Canada

This proposed research aims to focus on the perspective of newcomers and the organizations that provide direct support to newcomers, and how policies and plans enable or inhibit how readily newcomers can find and secure skills- commensurate employment. It is our intent to make this research as practical as possible for newcomer-serving organizations to design better employment programs and supports by seeing where policies and plans align with the lived experience of skilled newcomers.
