Power Tower Wind Turbine Innovation Project
The Quidi Vidi / Rennie’s River Development Foundation (QVRRDF) is developing a Power Tower initiative to promote the use of renewable energy and conservation practices in Newfoundland and Labrador. The proposed project will provide the knowledge, understanding, and confidence needed to incorporate advanced wind turbine technology into the QVRRDF’s Power Tower. Installation of a small wind turbine for use in an urban area requires careful planning, permitting and engineering knowledge to complete successfully. The proposed project will address each of these factors.
