Pragmatica UWaterloo Co-op

The project will consist of helping develop the core product of the company, which is a Virtual Reality (VR) application containing activities that mimic the type of exercises done in speech therapy sessions. The premise of the product is to have a library of activities that target different communication skills, allowing its users to practice their communication skills from the comfort of their own homes without a therapist present. Accordingly, the project will entail the development of those activities and other features like the user interface, data analysis and voice recognition. This would greatly help accelerate the company’s progress and aid them in entering the market at a much faster rate, as well as reaching different customer segments that each have different sets of communication skills to work on.
