Program Development

The project will focus on how covid affected homework services provided by NEEDS Inc. Working with clients in-person versus remotely is different. Transitioning to using remote resources made everyone adjust to what they were used to, adjusting to a different way of life. The Intern will focus on the remote homework club and the technical issues the clients had to face, wifi failures whilst trying to get assistance with their assignments. Staff also had to make an adjustment to the tools of service delivery such as ensuring that all newcomer clients had access to computers, iPads, internet, a quiet space at home, and the assistance at home to access technology. The Intern will analyze and provide process improvements for the remote homework club to ensure that they are providing efficient and effective services.
