Resource Assistance for Youth

The project I will work on will be a research/evaluation report on the housing programs at RaY and their work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. I will utilize RaY’s service database to do a quantitative assessment of the outcomes our housing department achieved throughout the 2020-2021 fiscal year (April 1 2020 – March 31 2021). I will also collect qualitative data from staff and participants, likely through web-based surveys or questionnaires to minimize interpersonal contact. The expected end result will be a report that highlights the accomplishments of RaY’s housing programs, the needs of the youth they serve both internally and externally, and creates actionable recommendations for improvements to RaY’s housing programs. This product will help the organization because they will be able to use the findings to advocate for more or different resources when applying for funding and will be able to use the recommendations to help influence relevant local policy. Most, if not all, work can be done remotely.
