SDG Strategic Planning at the City of Peterborough

The purpose of this research is to help the City of Peterborough develop a framework for engaging with key stakeholders in the city to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Peterborough. It aims to develop a stakeholder map and a deeper understanding of the spheres of control and influence each stakeholder has on the specific targets and indicators in question. This research project will focus on the SDG-related metrics that are within the sphere of control of the City of Peterborough, as an active agent, and are articulated under SDG 9: Infrastructure and Industrial Innovation and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. It will then develop a strategy for effective engagement with these key stakeholders that the City can use to advance the implementation of the SDGs in Peterborough.
