Student Support for West Broadway Community Organization

I will personally be working with West Broadway Community Organization (WBCO) in a partnership with New Journey Housing. These organizations are located in the heart of Winnipeg’s Inner City as supports in community development for this area. The hope of this project is to help WBCO and New Journey Housing develop a social media strategy and outreach opportunities. This will include developing a series of posts that can be shared across different platforms. The posts will share important information on their upcoming workshops and explain resources on housing and financial benefits. The project will include developing a timeline of posts to create a flow of themes and related calls to action for the audience. Canva will be utilized as the main tool in creating the valuable content. Said content will be used throughout the year extending past August, as a content catalog the organization will pull from when posting. Another goal for the project includes increasing their posts per week and grow engagement on all active platforms in order to increase participation in NJH workshops.
