Student Support for Youth Employment Services

Youth Employment Services (YES) is an organization that delivers inclusive, low-barrier employment and training services to Manitoba youth between the ages of 16 to 29.YES provides one-on-one appointments for resume and cover letter writing, job searching, practicing interview skills, and more, in addition to offering free training and certification opportunities. YES is also heavily involved in conducting educational outreach with local high schools and community organizations across Manitoba, hosting comprehensive workshops focusing on employability, career development, succeeding in the workplace, and more.Through this program, YES will be updating the Work Experience Program Guide, which highlights opportunities in Winnipeg for youth of various backgrounds (high school students, EIA clients, Indigenous youth, newcomers, French-speakers, and more) to gain valuable skills and experience.
