Survey of Jewellery Production & Manufacturing in the Atlantic Region of Canada

This project aims to grow capacity in the Atlantic region for jewellery making and manufacture. Currently, a significant amount of jewellery and metal work is sent to other provinces or internationally. The intern and partners will work to engage local industry players to understand the scope of work they are doing, build capacity understanding in the Atlantic region which will inform further scopes of joint work. This initial capacity building and industry understanding will both aim to increase the amount of work produced in the region, sharing capacity understanding to partners, and inform on what sorts of services need to be augmented locally to increase access, innovation, quality and opportunity.
