The intern’s primary objective is to conduct extensive market research on the intersection of critical technology and education in Canada. The aim is to identify potential strategic partnerships and areas for further development. The intern will also create documents, papers, and presentations to investigate the use of critical tech in the Canadian education space, raising awareness of commercial opportunities, and promoting sector growth in Canada. The project will be conducted in partnership with the Cansbridge Fellowship (partner organization) and Dr. Heather Sheardown (academic supervisor). They will identify viable strategic partnerships for Canada by considering commercial needs and alignment with Canadian policy goals. The academic supervisor will provide a wealth of knowledge on strategy and strategic partnerships, while the partner organization will offer mentorship and a global alumni network to support interdisciplinary research across industries. The partner organization’s primary benefit is to achieve its mission of fostering global collaboration and attracting Canada’s global-minded youth to the program.
