Youth Initiatives Summer Camp Winnipeg

Career Trek is a registered charity whose goal is to educate, help, and inspire youth to access education, employment, and life-long learning opportunities through hands-on career exploration, mentorship, and workshops. Career Trek empowers young adults to understand how to get where they want to be and gives them tools for success, such as skill development and career-oriented programming, which engages young adults and encourages them to get excited about their future. This internship project will work to increase awareness and recruit more youth and young mothers to join the Career Trek programming that runs throughout the school year. The final written report after the two programs completion will document successes and create an outline for best practices and areas that could be improved upon to ensure success for next years summer camps and other types of programs.
