Queen’s University PhD student, Caitlin Miron, has identified a chemical compound that could potentially “switch off” cancer cells.  

Qingwang Yuan, a postdoctoral fellow from the University of Regina, received a Mitacs Award for developing a computer model that significantly improves the enhanced oil recovery process, allowing oil companies to recover the most oil possible from large reservoirs.
