Aman Sethi VIU MBA Gears Canada Internship

The project is a digital marketing internship. Wherein the intern (Aman Sethi) will assist the organization (Gears Canada) with email marketing communications, digital sales and customer service, prospecting strategy, SEO (search engine optimization) strategy and recommendations, strategic social media marketing, data analysis, and maintenance of gears Amazon sales channels, and products listings, respectively. This will help the intern to create effective email campaigns that encourage customers to perform actions such as creating new accounts or making repeat purchases, to conduct a competitive analysis of competitor social media accounts along with creating a social media calendar, to improve on-page SEO (alt-text, title tags) and improve off-page SEO (backlinks), to build brand trust and credibility by addressing negative reviews and encouraging positive reviews, and to create engaging marketing videos and copy, including social posts and blog posts. Furthermore, the intern will be able to use strategies learned during his MBA from marketing specialization specific courses including Digital Marketing, Integrated Branding, and Strategic Marketing Management.
