An Online, Authenticated and Verifiable, Community News Platform using Blockchain

This project hopes to offer a new experience to the way people engage and consume video news on social media. By taking a community reporting approach to video sharing, validation and incentivization, this project wants to offer an online news platform with the means to not only validate and verify video news before and while it spreads on social media=.
The proposed system is not just a stand-alone platform but will work to support existing social media platforms. Our goal is in two parts. First, it will handle and service community users with a crypto-based incentivization program to verify, validate and post local eyewitness news. Second, it will cross-reference community posts with those on social media (and internally) to establish the validity of videos and the authenticity of the event associated with them.
