Arctic Research Foundation – Polar Data Analyst Project

This phase will continue some of the work started in the last phase regarding visualization of data. Some of the basic file types and visualization standards were established in the last phase. Basic file types such as images and .pdf files were considered. In this phase the exploration of the incorporation of ARC GIS for the visualization of more complex data types such as bathymetry, graphs, topographical data and herd migrations will be considered. Additionally, further improvements to the application UX to establish consistency in the experience throughout the site, and some initial analysis of CCADI data grammar and how it would relate to the structure of data already existing in the ARF application.
