In the COVID-19 new “normal” the importance and impact of mental health has surged in interest and become a top priority. This is both an opportunity to grow and also the challenge that HLF has to face to enhance its impact and expand awareness. HLF is currently offering classes to train high school students on developing their mental wellness. They want to expand outreach to go beyond Winnipeg and assist other communities in Canada. A challenge for this project is to connect with youth while following the safety guidelines.
