Barriers to employment access, participation, and progress among racialized communities in Windsor-Essex

This research project will be focused on addressing the relationship between the racialized groups and their employment opportunities. The results of the research will encourage a healthy discussion and provide a direction for addressing the needs of racialized groups. This research project will be conducted in collaboration with other community partners and will investigate the effects of discrimination and/or racism of immigrant employees. Some objectives include raising awareness of the existing employments barriers that immigrants in the Windsor-Essex region face. This research also aims to suggest ways to improve the integration of newcomers and immigrants and eliminate existing barriers.
