Data & Research Intern

COVID-19 has had a dramatic effect on the finance industry, simply due to the industry being driven by “”in person””
meetings with teams, clients and customers as their core method of operating. The industry has been forced to adapt to
new circumstances, as physical office locations are shut down (us included), and in-person group and individual meetings
have been unable to take place. It has forced companies to find new ways to continue to operate efficiently, remotely, and
harness new and effective means of digital operations and infrastructure to keep things going.

Data & Research Specific Responsibilities
In depth research and data compilation of private capital markets financings in Canada and the US
Private capital markets financings, total amounts, by country and by sector
Analysis of tokenized securities offerings vs traditional public equity offerings (equivalent)
Digital securities research – total number of offerings, amounts raised, by industry and geographic region as well as clients the are potential users and capital raisers of digital securities. Design of specific propositions for potential clients of digital securities.
