Digital Horizons: Shaping Manitoba’s Integrated Policy Future

In today’s society, digital technologies impact every facet of how we live, work, and play. ). As a result, decisions and investments related to digital policy influence and can either enable or prevent the achievement of broader social policy goals, and vice versa. This project is developing a comprehensive ecosystem map identifying all digital policy investments, policies, and actors in Manitoba in order to facilitate accurate insights into digital access and adoption programs and support whole-of-government coherence at the intersection of digital policy and socioeconomic policy. This research initiative will also produce a ’digital equity lens’ to ensure broader socioeconomic policy agendas realize their full potential using supportive digital policies. ISOC MB will use the results of this project to support its mission of enabling digital access and inclusion for everyone in Manitoba.
