E-Commerce Business Strategy Intern

COVID-19 and on-premise closures required the brand to scale emerging alcohol channels to adapt to changes in the industry and reimage how products are delivered to the end consumers. The overarching objective is to work on the e-retail strategy for Labatt and consolidate best practices related to brand activation, consumer experience, and last-mile strategies. I will be focusing on the total alcohol marketplace for the duration of the four months. The specific deliverables will help address the underlying issues of low e-retail penetration in Canada and identify possible solutions to address these challenges through specific project deliverables. Not only will this help Labatt, but it also ensures a better customer experience for Canadian shoppers, and provides more opportunities both economically and socially. The launch of a successful e-retail platform will enable more economic development and potential new jobs to be created during this difficult time.
