Environmental, Social, and Economic Impact Study

The goal of the project is to gain insight into AFTeR member organizations’ impact on the textile reuse industry in Atlantic Canada, the future of the industry, and the significance of the industry from the standpoint of social enterprise. By expanding the scope to include the Atlantic Canadian provinces, the project will aim to decipher industry best practices in each region and to find ways for AFTeR to forge stronger connections. The project aims to better understand how the textile reuse industry can be developed into a circular economy, and to recommend ways in which this growth can be leveraged into meeting the goals of AFTeR members.
