Founded in 1950, the Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia is the self-regulatory professional body for interior design practitioners in BC. We register interior designers who meet an established standard of experience and competence and conduct their practice in accordance with a prescribed code of ethics. We protect the public by assuring individuals or companies seeking design services that all Registered Interior Designers (RIDs) have met IDIBC’s stringent professional standards.
We are to bring a Member Services Coordinator Intern on board who can assist with maintaining professional RID designation requirements for interior designers working in BC. The Member Services Coordinator Intern will review industry regulations, improve and build upon existing resources, edit existing documentation to assure compliance, support membership processes and events, among many others duties. This role offers insights into professional industry regulation and HR initiatives related to interior design.
